Wireless Adapters

The Smartronix Laser Range Finder Adapters were developed as integrated, commercial Bluetooth devices for the military grade laser target locators. The wireless adapters provide the convenience of no cables and the versatility of connecting to any Bluetooth compatible computer or mobile device enabling short-range wireless data transmission between the two.

Video Data Converter

The Smartronix Video Data Converter is designed to interface with a Standard Ground Control Unit (GCU) for UAVs. The rugged, compact design makes it ideal for use in the field. Video information from the UAV is received by the Video Data Converter, where it is converted from an image or an analog video signal into a digital format. The digital video signal is passed to the computer via a USB connection. The converter also contains a USB to Serial converter.

RDA™ Cables

The Smartronix multi-function RDA cable is designed to simplify radio operations by allowing a computer to perform up to six different radio interface tasks using a single USB connection.

USB Multiport Interface Cable

The USB Multiport Interface Cable provides four (4) RS-232 Serial ports from one (1) USB port using a Ruggdized USB Hub made from plastic (or aluminum, if requested). Great for deployable operations requiring serial interfacing to multiple communication devices. Setup software is included.

Power Converters

Utilizing our extensive mechanical and electrical engineering experience with the Panasonic Toughbook line, Smartronix has developed a variety of power converters, cables, and connectors for powering Toughbooks from non-US fixed power, aircraft, humvee, military radio battery, or standard automobile power. All Smartronix power converters are designed to “attach” to pre-existing Toughbook mounting points, which means that the power converter does not have to be carried separately and no warranty concerns are necessary.

Hard Drives

Smartronix Hard Drives for the Panasonic Toughbooks provide users with the capability to quickly add additional hard drive space or to quickly switch hard drives between limited laptop assets.
