ISO refers to the
International Organization for Standardization which is made up of members from 164
Smartronix currently holds three ISO certifications – ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011,
ISO/IEC 27001:2013, as well as AS9100D.
ISO 9001 is a generic set of Quality Management System (QMS) requirements applicable to any
type of organization. To be certified to the standard, companies must implement a QMS that
is designed to continually improve performance while enhancing customer satisfaction. Such a
QMS embraces the eight quality management principles upon which the standard is based,
including: customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, system
approach to management, continual improvement, factual approach to decision making, and
mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
Certification to ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011, ISO/IEC 27001:2013, and AS9100D
reinforces to customers through an independent third-party (BSI) that Smartronix meets the
requirements of the standards. Smartronix clients can rest assured that the
