Col Bill Spencer (USMC, Ret.) Joins Smartronix as Vice President

09 August 2010 – Smartronix is pleased to announce
that Bill Spencer is joining the company on August 9th as a Vice
President and will be based in the Stafford, Virginia Office. In
this role, Bill will have responsibility for leading Smartronix'
strategy as it relates to company positioning within our United
States Marine Corps market.
Prior to joining Smartronix, Bill was with Booz Allen Hamilton
for eleven years and most recently was the managing Principal of
the Operational Integration Business for the Marine Corps and
the Marine Corps IT Account and was involved in developing the
Marine Corps Cyber business. He also led the Booz Allen Hamilton
office that supported the Air Force Research Laboratory - Rome,
New York. Bill retired as a Colonel from the Marine Corps with
27 years of service as a Communications Officer. Bill held key
staff and command assignments to include Chief of Staff for
Third Marine Division; III MEF G-6; Commanding Officer (CO)
MWCS-28 during the Gulf War; CO, Communications Company, 2nd
Marine Division; and CO, Bravo Company, 2nd Radio Battalion.
His areas of expertise are operational integration, capture
management, profit and loss management, leadership, cyber
operations and security, proposal management, and business
development. Bill earned a M.S. from the Naval War College and a
B.S. from Bloomsburg University.
