Smartronix Adds Vice President of Sales to Support Commercial Cloud Practice Growth

Reston, Virginia – 11 March 2014 - Smartronix announced today that it has hired Sean McCarron as Vice President of Sales to lead sales and business development efforts for its growing commercial cloud computing business.

Mr. McCarron brings 14 years of experience with a focus in sales, business development, and strategic partner management in the cloud computing, hosting, and software industries. He was previously Business Development Manager for Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he managed strategic relationships and facilitated go-to-market initiatives and strategic deal engagement to drive cloud adoption across enterprise customers. Before working at AWS, he held multiple positions with Microsoft and ESRI. At his new post, Mr. McCarron will lead the sales and business development efforts for Smartronix' cloud computing practice area focused at the private sector.
