Smartronix Awarded MCNOSC Enterprise Service Design (S5) CEOSS Contract

Stafford, VA – 13 September 2010 – Smartronix announced its award of a three-year, $4.6M, contract supporting the Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Center (MCNOSC) for Enterprise Service Design (S5). The MCNOSC directs global network operations and defense of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) and provides technical leadership to facilitate seamless information exchange in support of Marine and Joint Forces operating worldwide. The scope of this task includes a wide range of engineering, design analysis, and technical management services supporting the consolidation of network and IT infrastructure in order to create a more effective and responsive Net-Centric environment. This will enable the Marine Corps’ regionalization efforts; implement robust network operations; instill high availability, continuity and disaster recovery; and will position the Marine Corps to field enterprise IT services. Smartronix is teamed with Technology Service Corporation (TSC), the prime contractor in the execution of this task.
