Smartronix Sponsors Marine Corps Association Annual C4 Awards Dinner
Quantico, Virginia – 15 May
2007 –
For the 3rd consecutive year, Smartronix was a proud sponsor of
the Marine Corps Association (MCA) Command, Control,
Communications, and Computers (C4) Annual Awards Dinner held in
Crystal City, Virginia, co-hosted by MCA and Headquarters Marine
Corps. This annual event focuses on issues surrounding command,
control, communications and computers and the occupational
fields that directly support these areas in the Marine Corps
generally and the Marine Air Ground Task Force specifically. The
key purpose of the dinner is to provide recognition to Marines,
civilians and support organizations that have made notable
achievements during the year in the C4 arena.
With the support of corporate sponsors such as Smartronix, the
following awards were presented: The Gray Trophy for
Outstanding Command and Control Systems Leadership, The James
Hamilton Information Technology Management Civilian Marine of
the Year Award, The Lt Col Kevin M. Shea Memorial Award for
outstanding Marine Corps C4 unit, and three PFC Herbert A.
Littleton Awards.
The dinner provides an excellent opportunity for Marines of all
ranks to meet with corporate sponsors, and others in the
military community for an evening of education, networking, and
most importantly, camaraderie.
