Smartronix to provide IT services to Northrop Grumman for new St. Elizabeths DHS

15 October 2010 – Smartronix, as a subcontractor to
Northrop Grumman Corporation, will be providing network and
security engineering, security operations, communications
framework integration, and collaborative information portal
development in support of the new US Department of Homeland
Security (DHS) Headquarters located on the St. Elizabeths campus
in Washington, D.C.
Northrop Grumman was awarded the $2.63 billion task order by the
U. S. General Services Administration (GSA) under the GSA
Alliant Government Wide Access Contract (GWAC). This tasking
will provide support services for the installation of a
campus-wide information technology (IT) infrastructure providing
secure communications and operations; including design,
installation, test, operation and maintenance of a seamlessly,
integrated and secure IT solution.
Jesse Morrell, Director of Federal Civilian Agencies at
