Smartronix Awarded Contract to Support the Air Force Medical Information Systems

Maryland - 17 August 2006 – Smartronix was awarded a
task order contract to support the Medical Information Systems
Program Office, Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex, Alabama. Smartronix
provides software development, systems administration,
migration, sustainment, configuration management, and Help Desk
support for 20 medical Web-based applications. Some of the
Web-based applications include: Air Force Reportable Events
Surveillance System (AFRESS), Aeromedical Information Waiver
Tracking System (AIMWTS), Executive Facilities Information Tool
(EFIT), Information Technology Server Consolidation (ITSC),
Medical Facility Assessment and Compliance Tracking System
(MedFACTS), MHS Population Health Portal (MHSPHP), Medical
Planning and Programming Tool (MPPT), Physical Examination
Processing Program (PEPP), Refractive Surgery Management System
(RSMS), Radioactive Materials Management Information System
(RAMMIS), System Change Request Application (SCRA), Substance
Use Assessment Tool (SUAT), Suicide Event Surveillance System
(SESS), Web Register, Knowledge Exchange (Kx), and Total Cost of
Ownership (TCO).
This effort assists the Medical Program
Office in its responsibility to fulfill operational requirements
for the Air Force healthcare community. The services provided as
part of this effort use skilled personnel and processes that
support the transfer and sustainment of the AFMS Web Services
used by all Air Force Medical Service worldwide.
