Smartronix Expands IT Service and Support to Special Operations Command Korea (SOCKOR)

Tampa, Florida – 30 October 2008 – Smartronix has been awarded tasking under the Headquarters United States Special Operations Command (HQUSSOCOM) Enterprise Information Technology Contract (EITC). The EITC contract offers HQUSSOCOM centralized support of subordinate command requirements while providing a common vehicle for decentralized support unique to each command.

Our assigned mission in SOCKOR centers on provisioning all aspects of Spectrum management (HF, VHF, SHF, UHF) including satellite systems as well as providing computer network security and information security across NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS and Special Category networks. As a teaming partner of L3 Communications, Smartronix plays a critical role in defining, implementing, and sustaining this enterprise network across HQUSSOCOM, including all of its components the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs) and JSTOFs.
